We provide ideal opportunities for both experienced and beginner anglers alike for catching catfish, pike, carp, pike-perch, asp, tench and bream. Catfish of 10-20 kg can be regularly caught (primarily in May and June), wild carp of 5-10 kg, pike over 3 kg, pike-perch, asp and bream over 2 kg. We offer our own boats, maintained fishing places, local guides, bait and lure, and also GPS for finding the fishing spots. More than 20 excellent fishing sites can be approached within 5-30 minutes by boat, bicycle or on foot from the guest house.

Dorogma Panzio (Guest House) is located on the bank of the River Tisza, in Tiszadorogma, Hungary, in an idyllic village environment. The newly built building of traditional cottage style with a huge landscaped garden and the watery world of the River Tisza offers complete relaxation for everybody who enjoys nature, village hospitality, fishing, a cycle or water tour.

Typical Day

You can select guided activity or unguided activity.

Most of the tour locations and fishing areas are accessible unguided as well, we provide maps, and GPS if needed.

We offer guided fishing and bird-watching tours, these are full day programmes using an off-road car or boats.

Singles, couples, groups up to 12 people.

Sleeping and meals

Rooms are very comfortable, spacious, with country style furniture, comfortable beds, bathroom. We also offer lunch and dinner.

Bed linen, towels, shower gel, hair dryer are provided with cleaning on request; heating is through a central heating system. In addition to the two twin beds (which can also be used as a double bed) there is a sofa bed which can be used as a full single bed. A child’s bed and a possible fourth bed (a camping bed with a foam mattress) can also be provided.

We have an inside dining room (up to 18 people) where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also have a nice, shady open terrace for about 15 people.
A restaurant is available in 10-15 minutes on the other side of the river (by bike or car).

No pets in the rooms.
Smoking is possible on the terrace only.

Room. breakfast, lunch and dinner: $439 per person for one week.
(Based on two people sharing room.)
Boats $30 per day.

Guided tours start at $50 per person per tour.

Double room with breakfast, for two people US $95/day.

Other Information

Even if you are not fishing (right then), we still offer a very pleasurable opportunities for relaxation.

Take a one day excursion to Eger, famous for its history and wine which is a 45 minutes trip by car. The thermal bath in Tiszacsege is a 15 minute journey by car or by bicycle a 30 minutes route. You can swim in the River Tisza at the beach by Tiszafüred (30 minutes by car), but if you are looking for a less busy place to swim, the backwaters at Tiszabábolna which is suitable for bathing is only 5 minutes away (10 minutes by bike).

Take your flight to Budapest, Hungary, and we will pick you up at the airport.

Or drive down to Budapest and take Motorway M3 (direction Debrecen). Drive 128 kms to crossing Mezokovesd and leave the motorway, turn to Borsodivanka. from here it takes 25 km to drive to Tiszadorogma, where the facility is located.

For bookings of at least 7 nights we offer discounts of 10-20% starting on 1st September.
