Active Adventure
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Virginia’s wine country that only a two-wheeled journey can offer. Tour d’Epicure’s fully-supported vacation packages are led by experienced cyclists who love food, wine, and great cycling as much as you do. On a Tour d’Epicure vacation, you’re encouraged to ride at your own pace and enjoy the sights, sounds and beautiful countryside of Virginia. With two guides on the road and a support vehicle nearby, you’ll have plenty of support, no matter how fast or slow you want to ride. The routes will have varying terrain of flat stretches, rolling hills, and some long climbs. There will be options for a short and long ride each day with distances of 25 – 50 miles. Riding is optional each day and you may choose at any time to ride to our destination in the support vehicle.

Typical Day
Day of Arrival
Afternoon: Arrive at the Foster Harris House. Check in, unpack and relax in the gardens with a drink or join us on a casual shake-down ride of about 15 miles to stretch our legs.
Evening: Chef/owner Frank Maragos of Foti's Restaurant in Culpeper serves up European and Mediterranean influenced cuisine in an elegant environment.
Day Two
Morning: A satisfying breakfast, then a rolling 25-mile ride to our lunch destination, the award winning Rappahannock Cellars.
Afternoon: Enjoy catered lunch on the veranda overlooking the vineyards of Rappahannock Cellars. Cycle 10 miles back to the Foster Harris House or hop in the van for a more leisurely afternoon. Visit Washington's galleries and shops, or just sip an iced tea in the shade.

Evening: The Inn at Little Washington has been serving presidents, dignitaries and guests for over 30 years and tonight Chef Patrick O'Connell will provide our farewell dinner. We will enjoy a champagne toast to celebrate our accomplishments and new-formed friendships then sit down to a most lavish meal in this Relais & Chateaux 5-star Inn. You've earned every last bite! After dinner we will tour the kitchen of the Inn.
Day Three
Morning: One last delectable breakfast, check-out and for our guests who want to enjoy one last ride, we set out on an hour long loop along the beautiful Rush river and past scenic Rappahannock farms.
