Description of Surrounding Area

This area of Southwest Montana is know for it's pristine beauty, high snow capped mountains, lush green valleys, and excellent fishing. The area is still mostly agricultural with cattle ranching and farming. Yellowstone Park is about a two hour drive from the property. Other major attractions include Bannack State Park, and Virginia City. The ranch is located on the historic Lewis and Clark Trail.

This is a rare opportunity to stay on a private 1400 acre ranch on the Beaverhead River. Choose from three cabins/homes. All three places are in totally private locations on the ranch, separated by several miles. Guests of the ranch have access to almost a mile of the Beaverhead River, two ponds loaded with trout, and several miles of spring creek.The insides of the cabins are tastefully decorated with fun western art and antiques. They all have fully furnished kitchens, all linens and towels, televisions, DVD's, and phones. The larger homes have washers and dryers.
