Description of Surrounding Area

Lewiston is located in North Central Idaho. The communities of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington are one mile apart, separated by the Clearwater River. The community houses approximately 65,000 residents. The downtown area of Lewiston is home to several eateries, and has small-town charm. There are many local events throughout the summer. Residents and visitors enjoy all types of water sports, biking, walking, golfing, camping, and many other activities.

Clearwater Hall is located in downtown Lewiston at 410 Main Street and College Place is at 814 4th Street, on the edge of the Lewis-Clark State College Campus. Clearwater Hall's suites are located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building, and are accessible by elevator or stairs. College Place is a 3 storey walk-up building. Both buildings have ADA accessible suites. Free parking is available nearby, and there are bike racks, exterior smoking areas and small grassed areas.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Built in 2006, Clearwater Hall holds 117 residents in 32 suites and College Place holds 88 residents in 22 suites. The suites are air conditioned and include a shared living room/kitchenette space and bathroom, surrounded by 4 individual bedrooms. The bedrooms are completely furnished with an extra-long single bed, study desk and chair, and wardrobe. Wireless internet is provided in each bedroom and cable TV hookups are live (televisions not provided). Shower curtains, bath mats, paper towels and toilet paper are included in the suite rental.
In Clearwater Hall only, the general living area is furnished with a sofa, coffee table, dining table and chairs. Both buildings have a full-size refrigerator and microwave oven in each suite and coin-operated laundry facilities are available on-site.

Amenities

Lewiston offers many chain and local restaurants, fast-food restaurants and nightclubs, as well as several large fitness centers. There are beaches along the river, two community swimming pools and a full aquatic center in nearby Clarkston. Hells Gate State Park is just a couple of miles from city center, on the Snake River. Bicycle Dealers are Folletts Mountain Sports, Pedals-n-Spokes, and T & T Bikes to name a few.

Services Offered

None provided. Our custodian cleans common areas and laundry rooms, but the individual suites do not have cleaning available. We clean the suites between visitor stays.

Restrictions

No pets, no smoking, no candles or open flame of any kind. This facility is a residence hall during the academic year and we have staff living in the facility in the summer. Clearwater Hall is secured by cardlock entrances to the building and suites. All visitors are expected to follow posted procedures.

$25 per night, per person; family rates available.

Other Information

Linen packages, consisting of bedding (pillow, pillow case, sheets and blanket), towel and washcloth are available for $7.50 per person per week.

Clearwater Hall is located at 410 Main Street in Lewiston, Idaho. College Place is located at 814 4th Street, next to the LCSC campus. You will need to pick up keys from Suite 104 at 814 4th Street, which is the Office of Residence Life on the Lewis-Clark State College campus. Advance reservations are required.
