Adventures in Plein-Air Painting

Typical Day

Continental Breakfast at your hotel, you will picked up by tour bus and taken to our outdoor painting locations such as Magen's Bay, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world; and Private botanical gardens at a historic sugar mill. You will see a painting demonstration by our professional painting instructor. Then you will paint until midday. A gourmet lunch is served where you are painting. In the afternoon, you are free to swim at the beach, enjoy a tropical drink, or return to the hotel. In the evening you are free to shop, explore and dine on your own.

Our tour in Medieval Spain is similar. You will paint in the midst of a medieval village. Day excursions are provided, one of which is a day trip to the Caves of Altamira, the site of pre-historic art dating to 14,000 years ago.

Age range, type of group

Artists of all levels of experience are welcome. You are required to bring your own Plein-air painting supplies. A complete list is available. We accept those over 21.

Sleeping and meals

You will stay in a cozy Carribean resort. Efficiency kitchen and once per week maid service. You will have continental breakfast in your hotel. A gourmet luncheon will be served at our painting locations.
