Rooms were immaculate, staff well-trained and tour guides were very helpful. i got great prices on my sapa trip and city tour of hanoi. no one pushed me to do anything and since i had a long flight the day before, i was really glad. make sure you see the manager Hieu or his wife -- they worked all day just to get me on a soft-sleeper to sapa instead of hard seats (train station had said it was sold out-- but Hieu worked magic!!) this hotel defines the word service! Thanks again to all the staff!

Description of Surrounding Area

We are in the heart of the famous Old Quarter, just one block from Hoan Kiem Lake and central to all Hanoi attractions. The Old Quarter is an area famous for its shopping, restaurants, bars, and art galleries. Cyclos and taxis are readily available as well. The Water Puppet theater is just down the street, several museums are within walking distance, and others are only a few minutes by taxi.

Directions

Arriving at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, our staff will greet you in the airport lobby and escort you to our hotel in the center of Hanoi (approximately 40 minutes by private car). If you arrive by train or bus, our staff will also be happy to guide you safely to our building. Taxi/Van service to and from the airport price range: $ 20 - 30 USD. In Hanoi be careful with Motorbike, Taxi, and Van drivers. They sometimes play a little game with the tourists: asking you to wait at the vehicle while they check the hotel for you. If they report no vacancies upon return, don't believe them--they want the hotel to pay a them a commission for bringing them a guest!
