Description of Activity/Tour

All Earth Eco Tours offers the finest in outdoor and adventure activities for visitors to the Deep Creek Lake area of western, Maryland. Our tours are an easy drive from the DC and Baltimore metro areas. Guided hiking, flatwater kayaking, bonfire extravaganza, kids and family programs, organic farm tours, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and more.

Meet at the Savage Reservoir for our signature eagle watching eco tour. Kayak tours on the gentle reservoir feature instruction, quality touring boats, and fun loving kowledgable guides. Highlight is the nesting pair of Bald Eagles and the abundant wildlife on this mountainous wilderness lake surrounded by the highest mountains in Maryland. Trips are perfect for beginners and we get you started off right. Come paddling with us and Watch The Eagles Soar. Reservoir shoreline is totally undeveloped, with no houses, power lines or other sign of man (except of course the dam). Some trips include a short but steep and rugged hike to a beautiful overlook. Folks travelling from Washington DC andf Baltimore regions will find it a very doable day trip.

All ages and abilites. Schools and groups welcome. Single and double kayaks available and hikes available for all ages. We cater to handicapped folks, call for information.

Many types of lodging available from yurts to deluxe vacation homes. Tours are offered near the famous resort of Deep Creek Lake. There are numerous state park campgrounds with a wide range of comforts and facilities. Motels, hotels, and bed and breakfasts abound.
