Nestled in the foothills of Litchfield County Connecticut, Mountain View Inn is located 1/3 of mile south of the "award winning" Norfolk Green. Yale's Summer Music Festival is a short 5 minute walk from the property - so close that if you prefer you may relax on our Mahogany front porch on any given evening from the end of June through August and hear the soft sounds of the chamber music.

Mountain View Inn has 7 uniquely decorated guestrooms - all with private baths and air conditioning. Our newly restored Victorian Inn offers the perfect setting for your special memories....whether it be a romantic weekend respite or a very special wedding ! You'll wake up each morning to the smell of fresh coffee brewing and then enjoy a full Gourmet breakfast served in our dining room. In the warm weather, feel free to eat out on our Victorian Courtyard while listening to the tranquil sounds of our local birds.

Amenities

Located on the main floor of the Inn is The Gilded Peacock, a whimsical vintage boutique. The boutique is filled with feminine treasures dating back as far as the early 1900's through the 1960's. Mountain View Inn also has Free WiFi throughout the Inn.

Our licensed massage therapist provides relaxing spa treatments such as massages, aeromatherapy, facials etc. (by appt. only) We look forward to helping you customize your country respite here at Mountain View Inn.

Mountain View Inn is a smoke free facility. We are not able to have pets stay at the Inn.
