Active Adventure
Fly in a floatplane fifty airmiles southwest of Kodiak City on Kodiak Island National Wildlife Refuge. Our lodge has a 3500 foot mountain behind it and a mile wide bay in front with another mountain across. Beautiful scenery with the Zachar River a short boat ride and under an hour hike along game trails to the first fishing hole.
Typical Day
Full day away from the lodge. Experienced Guides. About 9 am go out in the boat for ocean fishing, or go hiking on a game trail to fish on a river or fly in a floatplane.
Age range, type of group
Should be in fairly good physical shape--for getting in and out of planes, boats and for hiking.
