Active Adventure

Offering world class whitewater experiences form mild to WILD!! All activites are guided so no prior experience necessary for any of our activities. Activities are based on a Class scale of I-V. Trips range from Class I whitewater(current or floating) to Class V(8'+ standing waves to 7'drops). Guests need to be ready for the adventure of a life time.

Typical Day

Your adventure begins in the morning; between 7:30-9:00am and end aroung 4:00pm. Day includes: guide, pre-trip instruction, equipment, transportation to and from river, hearty lunch, and slide and video presentation of your adventure.

Age range, type of group

We offer 13 different activites for rafters of all ages. Minimum age is 6, no maximum. We have programs for all types of groups: families, friends, coroprate groups, adult goups and youth organizations. Restrictions: Guests with current or past heart problems or expectant mothers.

Sleeping and meals

Our Maine location offers accommodations ranging from bunk style to luxury lodging. Cottages and motel style accommodations are available as well. Our base houses a restaurant; pub; comfy gathering room with sofas, chairs and fireplace; and a conference room. If camping is desired there are many campgrounds in the area we are able to refer you to. In Massachusetts & Vermont our base rests along the banks of the Deerfield River. It houses a fun store filled with souvenirs and a snack bar. Listings of area B&B's, campgrounds and motels can be provided upon request.

Restrictions

In Maine: State law prohibits smoking in any facilities where food is served. Hence our establishment is non-smoking. Covered and uncovered decks surround our building were smoking is available. No pets are allowed on the premise. In Massachusetts & Vermont: Our base is non-smoking. Decks are available for smoking.

Rates & Availability

Activity rates range from $30.00 pp for a half day activity to $312.00pp for two days of rafting and loding in luxury suites.

Besides whitewater rafting we offer snowmobiling, cross country skiing and romantic getaways.

Discounts Offered

We offer specific programs for girl & boy scout groups, church youth groups, colleges, high & middle school, summer camps and other youth organizations. As well corportate groups, friends and families.
