We can help you plan your wilderness canoe trip route. We'll also take care of reserving your travel permits for you. Need advice or recommendations, we'd love to help!

Typical Day

Canoes: solo, tandem, three person (even a 4 person!); aluminum, ABS, Duralite, Kevlar. Canoe/camping equipment of all types. Complete/partial outfitting. Overnight lodging.

Age range, type of group

Only outfitter in town with a live bait & tackle shop. We offer more types and styles of watercraft than anyone else in Ely. We specialize in family groups as well as Scouts & church groups.

Sleeping and meals

Dogs are welcome in some of our overnight lodging quarters but you must tell us ahead of time if you are bringing one.

Restrictions

Rates vary depending on type of package, group size and amount of days. We offer discount rates for non-profit groups such as Boy Scouts, youth groups, church groups, etcetera. Any child under 7 years old goes for free with any paid adult for our complete packages.

Other Information

A 5% discount on complete outfitting for any trip that starts before May 25th or after Labor Day. A 5% discount if your trip begins midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). Special rates for kids and non-profit groups. You can receive a 5% discount on our Ultimate Kevlar Package if you reserve for 5 or more days or we include the Fishing Package at no extra charge!

Discounts Offered

Highway 53 north to 169 east. Hwy 169 becomes Sheridan Street in Ely. Or if you take Hwy 1 north, it hits Sheridan Street on the east side of town. We are located on the far east edge of Ely.
