  1. How much will I earn through RealAdventures' affiliate program?
    You will earn a commission for every visitor that you refer to RealAdventures and the travel arrangements they make.

    We will also pay you 25% commission for every new paid listing your visitors create. Our advertising fees are between $99.95 and $599.95, so you will make $0 - $1 in commissions.

    There are over 5 million travel accommodations, tours, vacation packages and other travel services around the world. It is a huge market and everyone of them is a potential listing on RealAdventures.

    We recommend that you focus on travel services or destinations that you are particularly familiar with. For instance, if you live in Costa Rica, you should contact all of the restaurants, accommodations, tour guides and travel services in your region. If you are motivated, you could make much more than you ever dreamed possible.

    To earn your share of the $500 billion travel market, sign up today and start referring visitors. Your affiliate area offers statistics and reports showing how many visitors you have referred and the commissions earned.

    There is no setup fee and no obligation. It takes only a few minutes to apply and add the code to your website or e-mail messages. The more referrals you send, the more you will earn. You can sign up at http://RealAdventures.com/php/affiliates.htm.

    As soon as you apply, you will be able to login to your account and view your earnings by clicking on the Reports button. You'll find out how much you have earned and get a really good idea of your earning potential.


  2. How does the Google AdSense aspect of the affiliate program work?
    To qualify for the AdSense aspect of the RealAdventures affiliate program, you must first be approved into Google's AdSense program

    You then enter your AdSense Client ID into your affiliate account information and give us permission to use it when AdSense ads are served to your visitors.

    We will use your client id on 50% of the pages that your visitors view. If the visitor clicks on any of the ads, Google will credit your account directly.

    RealAdventures never has access to your AdSense account information, your profits or your AdSense reports. That information is strictly between you and Google.

    You must agree to and adhere to the 'Terms & Conditions' outlined below.


  3. What are the 'Terms & Conditions' of the Google AdSense aspect of the affiliate program??
    To qualify for the AdSense aspect of the RealAdventures affiliate program, you must first be approved into Google's AdSense program

    You must also, Read, Understand, Agree To and Fully Comply With The "Terms of Service" established by Google AdSense! Specifically
    • Do not engage in any fraudulent activity resulting in inflated page views, clicks or other illegitimate usage
    • Do not direct your visitors to click on AdSense Ads
    • Do not disclose your traffic, revenues, CTR or other metrics with anyone - including RealAdventures

    Websites failing to comply with these terms & conditions will be immediately and permanently dropped from all aspects of RealAdventures Affiliate Program.


  4. Is the Google AdSense aspect of the affiliate program within Googles' TOS??
    YES, Absolutely! We can only use your Client ID if you provide us with it thereby indicating your permission for us to use it. By providing your AdSense Client ID, you are giving RealAdventures permission to use it on AdSense ads displayed to your visitors.

    Only you and Google will know how many visitors clicked on the ads and how much you made. RealAdventures does not have access to any of your AdSense account information or profit reports.


  5. When are commissions paid??
    All commissions are paid 30 days after the month the commissions were earned when your account reaches $50 or more more. All payments are made via PayPal.


  6. Will I get lifetime commissions for advertiser renewals??
    YES. If you refer an advertiser, everytime they renew their listing or purchase additional services, you will get 25% commission everytime they complete a transaction.


  7. Do I have to have a website??
    No, you can use your affiliate code in e-mail, newsletters, blogs, forums, pay-per-click ads, banner ads or any other marketing channel. There are no restrictions on keywords or marketing channel that you may wish to employ.


  8. What type of links does RealAdventures provide??
    We provide the code for both text links and various graphic links (banner ads, etc) that you can use. But feel free to modify the links to suit your needs, just make sure you include the tracking code so we can credit your account.

    If you need help modifying your link, just ask - we are here to help you.


  9. What if two affiliates refer a visitor, who gets the commission??
    The only fair way to handle this is to give the credit to the most recent affiliate referring the visitor.


  10. How long do you track a referral made by an affiliate??
    We set a cookie each time a visitor you refer comes to RealAdventures and expires 31 days after the initial visit. Keep in mind that we can only track visitors as long as they accept cookies and do not delete them.


  11. Does RealAdventures offer a XML feed??
    We do have an XML feed for our daily "Featured Vacations". You can find this at http://RealAdventures.com.

    In addition, we will be introducing new XML feeds over the next several weeks.
